Summer Reading Program 2023
Save the date for a summer of reading!:
Saturday, June 24 - Saturday, August 12
Theme: All Together Now/Todos Juntos Ahora
Stay tuned for more details about programs and reading incentives for teens aged 12-18
Prizes, activities, and programs!
The Vibe:
Read whatever you want: The more minutes you spend reading, the greater your chances at winning prizes.
Not sure what to read?: Revisit this page in a few weeks for suggestions from the Maplewood Library’s teen librarian, as well as librarians from South Orange Public Library, Columbia High School, Maplewood Middle School, and South Orange Middle School.
All reading formats and genres are valid!: Do you love comics and graphic novels? Read those. Prefer audiobooks? No problem. There will be no genre-shaming here.
If there’s a title you want, but don’t see on our shelves, be sure to check Hoopla Digital and Libby for eBook and audiobook copies, as well as our online catalog for additional print copies.
Any questions? Please feel free to reach out to the teen librarian at Hilton Branch Library:
