Plan ahead for April!
Our title is The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman, by Laurence Sterne.
This classic masterpiece of satire with a rich metafictional narrative interweaves the birth and life of the unfortunate 'hero' Tristram Shandy, his eccentric father Walter, the military obsessions of his Uncle Toby, and a host of other best-loved characters. It is a joyful celebration of the art of fiction, and a wry demonstration of its limitations.
