One Book Project: Author Talk with Putsata Reang

  • Paramus Public Library 116 East Century Road Paramus, NJ, 07652 United States (map)

Book banning is no longer a thing of the past, with marginalized stories being at the top of banning lists. The One Book Project seeks to augment the voices that are consistently silenced, such as those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

In celebration of LGBTQIA+ History Month, Maplewood Library and the County of Essex invite you to read the amazing biography  Ma and Me by Putsata Reang, a book of love, culture, and the need for acceptance, and to attend  a talk by the author.

No registration is needed.

Ma and Me is available through BCCLS, Hoopla or Libby.

Presented by the BCCLS Library Consortium, the Diverse & Underserved Committee and Essex Public Libraries.
