James Ricalton was a teacher, naturalist, world traveler, photographer and author. During his 20 years as an unconventional but beloved teacher and principal in Maplewood, he was a guiding force in shaping our school system.
Historian Roger Bailey will talk of Ricalton’s life and travels, his work with Thomas Edison and his adventures as a war correspondent and photographer.
