The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
Very relevant to today’s world and problems, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is an often scathing satire on entrenched attitudes, particularly racism. Despite arguments that the protagonist and the tenor of the book are anti-racist, criticism of the book continues due to its perceived use of racial stereotypes. Twain himself calls it "...a book of mine where a sound heart and a deformed conscience come into collision and conscience suffers defeat."
