Kid Power! Workshops are created and presented by the talented kids and teens in our community. They offer our local youth an opportunity to be seen, heard, and appreciated.
“Roll out!” Learn about the history of the Transformers franchise and the characters from a local 12 year old library user.
The presentation will include images and demonstrations with figures with an interactive Q & A.

Presented by Ahadu Chase, a creative and artistic homeschooled 12 year old Orange resident. He is a phenomenal djembe drummer who has performed with Umoja Dance Studio as well as Zawadi Dance Group. He recently performed in Savion Glover’s Tap Dance Kid at NJPAC. He performed as the understudy to the main character, Willie. Ahadu has also been a regular yearly presenter at the Maplewood libraries for the past two years. He is also a developing tap dancer (hoofer) and is currently training with Maurice Chestnut.
